PUPILS made useful items from recyclable materials to learn about the importance of recycling.
Youngsters from Upton Snodsbury CE First School made pencil pots, planters, wind chimes and musical instruments.
They also found out about the importance of recycling and visitors to the school described what happened to recycling items when they left the school.
Older children had an expert visit to show them how to improve their composting skills for the school garden.
The activities were part of a recycling week.
