A FAMILY fun day of activities is being held at a Worcester college that supports children who are blind or visually impaired.

The event is being held at New College Worcester (NCW), based in Whittington Road, and is free to any family who has a child who is blind or visually impaired.

Among the activities available will be pony rides, a petting zoo, inflatable fun, arts and crafts, water zorbing and drumming.

The event is a chance for blind and partially sighted youngsters to get involved in fun activities while meeting other children.

Parents can also chat to NCW students and staff, have a look around the school and enjoy a day out.

The event starts at 10.30pm, and finishes at around 3pm. Refreshments are included.
