NURSERY children were treated to a visit by firefighters who taught them about the work they do.
Youngsters at Phoenix Childcare in Droitwich were allowed to sit in a fire engine, to try using a hose and even got to dress up in the uniforms.
It was part of a recently project where children have been learning about the work of the emergency services.
Sally Wyatt, childcare manageer, said: "The children had a fabulous time sitting in the engine, using the fire hose and dressing up in the uniforms.
"All the parents came along to and it became a lovely family event."
