CHILDREN are being invited to free multi-sports sessions across Worcester this summer.

Youngsters, aged two to 18, can try their hand at football, tennis, kwik cricket, soft play and games.

Three sessions a day will be run from Monday, July 24 to Friday, August 25, at venues including Northwick Fields, St Peter’s Power Park, Lowerwick Green, Gheluvelt Park, KGV Community Centre, Ronkswood Community Centre, Warndon Community Centre, Cripplegate Park, Pitmaston Park, Dines Green Community Centre, Diglis Fields, Horizon Community Centre and Tolladine Community Centre.

Matthew Rogers, Freedom Leisure active communities manager, who are running the programme on Worcester City Centre's behalf, said: "This is a great, fun and free way of helping to keep children fit and active during the school holidays, and it’s always really popular with Worcester families. Over 700 children enjoyed our Easter sessions, so we’re hoping to see even more this summer."

The whole family is welcome and booking is not required, parental consent is required for young people under 16.

All sessions are delivered by qualified and experienced coaches.
