TIARAS and crowns fit for a film star can be made to coincide with a new exhibition.

To coincide with the blockbuster exhibition 'Celebrity' on until 9 September, Worcester Art Gallery and Museum have a packed programme of activities starting on Tuesday with a chance to make tiaras and crowns.

This is followed on Wednesday August 2 when younger visitors can make pirate costumes and treasure chests.

Art gallery and museum manager Angie Bishop said: “It's great to see so many people enjoying Celebrity. The family activities will be lots of fun; they are a great way to entertain children during the long holidays and at only £2 for materials are great value too."

Activities take place weekly and details of each of them can be found on museumsworcestershire.org.uk or pick up a flier from the museum.

The Celebrity exhibition features costumes and props from some of the world's most famous celebrities.

Visitors have flocked to the exhibition to enjoy Marilyn Monroe's little black dress, Michael Jackson's Dangerous tour jacket and Becky Grainger's wedding dress.

Visitors to Celebrity can also dress up as their favourite screen star, immortalise themselves at the #selfiespot and play their favourite tracks on the jukebox.

Celebrity is on throughout the summer holidays.

Entry is free.
