A TEENAGE boy had to be rescued by fire fighters after coming off his bike and falling down a bank in the Tunnel Hill area of Worcester.
The boy had fallen about one-and-a-half meters down the embankment and the fire crew from Worcester used a rope system to haul him to safety.
The incident happened off Vicar Street just before 4pm on Tuesday, September 12.
An ambulance and a paramedic rapid response vehicle attended, and the boy, who was fully conscious, was treated for leg injuries before being taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further treatment.
