A MUCH-LOVED dog has gone missing from Worcester city centre.

Jicky, a five-year-old Cockapoo, has been missing since Monday, September 11.

Her owner Mike Mcguire, who has a four-year-old daughter named Orla, lives in Kidderminster but the pooch was staying with a friend at a property in Astwood Road, Worcester, when she went missing.

The friend had been attempting to fix their door, when Jicky made a run for it and managed to escape.

She is described as white or cream with a curly mane.

Since she disappeared, Mr Mcguire said he believed he saw his dog on Droitwich Road, Fernhill Heath, Worcester, at 8am yesterday (Tuesday, September 12).

He said: "She was on the side of the road - I shouted and she took off.

"I think people have tried to grab her and she has just ran away."

She is also believed to have been spotted near St Barnabas CE Primary School, Green Lane, Worcester.

Jicky, who is microchipped, is wearing a collar with contact details.

Anyone with information as to her whereabouts is urged to contact Mr Mcguire on 07854528415.
