A FAMILY who posted a video of them practising a lineout online were visited by two impressed Worcester Warriors players.

Donncha O'Callaghan and Matt Cox visited the Luckett family in Gloucester ahead of the Warriors match at Kingsholm tomorrow (Friday 22).

The duo, who share a flat in Cheltenham, travelled to Abbeymead in Gloucester to pass on some advice to the youngsters before recreating the lineout.

Nan was on hand to score the try at the end.

Mum Becky Luckett said: “It was such a fantastic experience for us as a family to be paid a visit by Donncha and Matt as it’s not every day you get your favourite rugby players knocking on your door.

“Chloe and Kitty were absolutely made up and we’re so grateful to the players for coming along to spend time with them and giving them tickets and shirts.”

The duo gave the family tickets to a game as well as Warriors shirts before checking out the family’s programme collection and meeting their two guinea pigs - named after full-back Ben Howard and former winger Tom Biggs.

Following their visit, Mr O'Callaghan said: “The family sent us a really nice video so we wanted to go down and say hello to surprise them.

“We heard they were massive Warriors fans so we were keen to thank them for their fantastic support.

“All our supporters are really important to us and it’s always great when they come and support us on matchdays and get involved by sending their videos to us.”
