A POPULAR Martley pub which only reopened last year has closed suddenly.
A sign was placed on the door of the Crown by AARC, in Martley, on Tuesday (September 19) and the entrance has already been boarded up.
Robin, Andy and Chris Conway, who set up ARCC Communications in Hartlebury, took over the pub last year and invested a six figure amount in its renovation.
Its grand reopening took place in August 2016 following a three month refurbishment of both the interior and exterior.
The pub was run as an American style smokehouse with British ingredients and served a range of ales.
The pub has deleted its social media accounts.
Nobody from the pub was available for comment.
