A LEADING Worcestershire housing associations has announced a host of ghostly half-term activities throughout the county.

Fortis Living, which provides more than 15,000 homes throughout Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire, will run the free events events next week.

In the Pickersleigh area of Malvern, a litter pick will take place on Tuesday, October 24, starting at Malvern Town Football Club, Langland Avenue, from 10am to 1pm, in partnership with Malvern Hills District Council.

At Droitwich Community Garden, on the corner of Winslow Avenue and Charles Henry Road, there will be pumpkin carving on Thursday between 10am and noon.

Pickersleigh Community Garden off Elgar Avenue, Malvern, will be the venue for pumpkin carving at 2pm on Friday, followed by a zombie walk to Malvern Town Football Club where a haunted house disco will take place with prizes for the scariest costume and the deadliest pumpkin. And Ronkswood Community Centre will be celebrating Halloween on Friday from 5pm to 7pm in partnership with Worcester Community Trust.
