EVERY life is a story worth telling – and we want to tell those life stories at the Worcester News.

That's why we're encouraging our readers to tell us when they lose a loved one so that we can work with them to put together a fitting tribute.

We'll send a reporter to meet the family and help you choose photos for the obituary, so that your memories of that special person can be put into words for a tribute article in both the newspaper and on our website.

We're not just looking for stories about people who were in the public eye. We want to hear about the so-called 'ordinary people' – the grandparents, parents, spouses, partners, friends and colleagues who made life better for those around them. Because every life is a story worth telling.

There are no fees involved – we just want to hear about the fascinating people who were special to their friends and family in Worcestershire, and we'll make telling their story to us really simple for you.

Once the story is published, you can frame the newspaper page as a lasting memorial.

If you would like us to put together an obituary, please contact deputy editor Michael Purton via michael.purton@newsquest.co.uk or 01905 742243, and he'll take you through the process.
