HEROIN, crack and cash were seized by police after a series of arrests in Worcester on Tuesday.
The arrests were carried out as part of Operation Blade, the city police's anti-drug initiative, and involved two groups of so-called "county line" dealers, who come in from outside Worcester to sell drugs.
One group of three was from Dudley, and were arrested when their vehicle was stopped in New Road outside the cricket ground.
They have since been released under investigation.
Another dealer from London was apprehended on Deansway in the city centre, and his colleagues arrested at a site elsewhere in the city. Three were in custody yesterday afternoon.
DI Tony Garner of West Mercia Police, said that the quantities of drugs and cash seized were "substantial".
Investigations into alleged drug offences were still continuing as the Worcester News went to press.
