A WOMAN has spoken of the dramatic scenes when a car ploughed into the front wall of her house.

Allison Clasen was sitting at home in Appletree Court, Main Street, Pinvin, near Pershore, on Saturday at about 11.45pm when a BMW Z3 crashed into a 50-foot section of wall outside the house.

The driver of the car was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving. Mrs Clasen said it was lucky no one was killed in the accident.

“If the wall had not been there it would have been fatal for either me and my husband or the people in the car.

"There were bricks flying into the courtyard and they smashed windows all over the house. It was absolute carnage and it was quite dramatic.”

Two ambulances and a rapid response vehicle also attended the scene and the two men in the car were taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.

The driver suffered minor injuries and the passenger suffered head and spinal injuries as well as abdominal tenderness.
