THESE mums in a million received beautiful Mother's Day bouquets after their artistic daughters won a Worcester News competition.

About 50 readers entered the contest - run in conjunction with award-winning Worcester florist Beautiful Flowers - by drawing pictures of their mums.

Pregnant Sandra Spragg received the top prize of a £50 bouquet yesterday, after her five-year-old daughter Rebecca drew her, with baby.

"I had no idea she had entered so it was a bit of a shock," said the 42-year-old, of Windermere Drive, Warndon, Worcester.

Eleven-year-old Hollie Cook's entry came in second place, winning mum Melanie a £30 bouquet.

"She's lovely, bless her," said the 42-year-old, of Leslie Avenue in Claines, Worcester.

Four-year-old Joceline Humphries, of Norfolk Close in Dines Green, Worcester, came third, winning her 22-year-old mum Laura a £20 bouquet.

Mrs Humphries had no idea her daughter had entered the competition.

"My mum did it with her," said the 22-year-old, of Norfolk Close, Dines Green, Worcester. "I'm quite shocked but pleased. It's lovely and very special.
