TRIBUTES have poured in for the man killed on the A449 Worcester to Kidderminster road in the early hours of Friday morning.
Dozens of flowers on the side of the road now mark the spot near the Reindeer Inn at Ombersley where the 25-year-old man was hit by two vehicles as he attempted to cross the carriageway.
West Mercia Constabulary have confirmed the man, from Worcester, visited the nearby China City restaurant on Thursday evening and was killed shortly after midnight.
The man has not yet been named, but tributes both at the spot and on our website www.worcesternews.co.uk lovingly refer to him as Dizzy'.
Many of the tributes are from close friends and family members.
"I will always miss you, bro," reads one, while another simply states "you will stay in our hearts forever."
Further messages of remembrance and respect have been left on your Worcester News website.
Sianyelizabeth posted: "Can't believe it... Dizzy you were a top bloke. I remember hanging out down the youth club and the street by your house as kids, and in the latter years meeting up at Glastonbury and down the Portobello. So sorry to all his family, Sian xx".
Another friend, stevelane, posted: "RIP Dizz, we will all miss you! I can't believe you're gone."
A third, timmilew, wrote: "RIP Diz. You were one of the best mates anyone could ever wish for. You will be missed for ever. We will never forget."
A post-mortem examination is due to be carried out today.
