A VILLAGE pre-school trying to raise £15,000 for a new heating system, has thanked pupils at The Chantry High School.
The school held a non-uniform day and raised £600 for Martley and District Pre-School.
It takes the total raised so far to £2,000.
Spokesman Katie Albutt said: "We are really grateful to the school for their help.
"Also we were very pleased to get an email from a group which saw our appeal in the Worcester News and said they may be able to help so that is brilliant."
Mrs Albutt also thanks everyone else that had made donations or offered help so far.
Your Worcester News reported last month how the pre-school was trying to raise the money to install a new central heating system to keep the children warm.
Any company offering financial assistance to the pre-school will have their name placed on a special plaque to be put up at the pre-school.
Donations can be made online at www.martleypreschool.co.uk
