A £25,000 cash reward has been offered for the conviction of those responsible for a ram-raid at a security depot.

The money will be paid following the conviction of those involved in the theft at the Group 4 Securicor (G4S) depot in Droitwich.

The cash has been offered by the company following the break in on Monday.

The offer comes 24 hours after South Worcestershire Police issued CCTV still images of the four vehicles - all believed to be stolen - used in the raid.

A silver Mitsubishi Shogun and a green Land-Rover Discovery were used to break in to the building.

Seven people wearing hooded clothing took the money and made their getaway in high performance cars, leaving the 4x4s behind.

No-one was threatened or injured in the incident on Berry Hill Industrial Estate.

Det Sgt Andy Price, of South Worcestershire CID, said: "The company believes that by offering this substantial reward it will further focus people's minds on the crime, both in terms of vehicle activity shortly beforehand and anything else - including unusual behaviour or suspicious conversations and/or actions - before and after."

Officers still believe that two or more of the vehicles may have been seen in convoy en route to the company's premises or during the previous 24 hours.
