9:38pm

Full-time.

9:38pm

Can't be long to go now. Where's the board when you need it?

9:36pm

YELLOW CARD. Brackley (90+2 mins): Billy Turley for time wasting.

9:34pm

Breeze ends a decent move by shooting over. You can sense the frustration around the Lane.

9:33pm

SUB. Brackley (90 mins): Tommy Winters on for Owne Story.

9:33pm

Thorley's fires the cross in and Reece volleys inches wide.

9:32pm

Marvin Robinson is down having treatment. Another delay.

9:29pm

YELLOW CARD. City (86 mins): Ellis Deeney for dissent.

9:29pm

Taylor's shot on the turnm hits Austin and Brackley clear.

9:27pm

Reece tees up Mills and he shoots over from long range.

9:21pm

Reece's free-kick from 25 yards is woeful.

9:19pm

GOAL. Brackley: Excellent work from Walker on the right feeds Diggin and he sends a powerful shot across Thompson and into the top corner.

9:17pm

The game is nicely poised at present. Either side capable of winning.

9:16pm

Ellis Deeney made to wait for what seems like an eternity to take a free-kick due to an injury to Marvin Robinson, and then blazes the ball over.

9:15pm

YELLOW CARD. Brackley (71 mins): Curtis MacDonald for bringing down Symons. It looked to me as though Symons had lost the ball and bought the foul.

9:13pm

Taylor has a shot blocked. The ball falls to Thorley and his effort hits Taylor.

9:11pm

SUB. City (67 mins): Michael Taylor comes on for Alex Meechan. Time for the striker to use his pace.

9:07pm

Story's free-kick hits the bar and goes over. Thompson was rooted to the spot.

9:05pm

Story takes advantage of a slip by Breeze, carries the ball towards the box and then fires wildly out of the ground.

9:03pm

Two corners in quick succession for City. Both come to nothing but the hosts have the bit between their teeth.

8:59pm

GOAL. City: Mills sends in the corner and Ryan Austin diverts the ball past his own keeper.

8:57pm

Thorley's free-kick is straight at the keeper.

8:56pm

One of the Brackley coaching staff is on the pitch, not happy with a decision. The steward has stepped in but the referee comes over and sends him to the stands. Biggest cheer of the night from the crowd.

8:55pm

Walker's corner for the visitors, again it's Weir with the headed clearance.

8:54pm

Diggin drills the ball in from the right but Tyler Weir gets it clear.

8:52pm

SUB. City (48 mins): Rob Elvins comes on for captain Stuart Whitehead. Not sure if that's tactical or injury-enforced.

8:51pm

YELLOW CARD. Brackley: Michael Corcoran for pushing Mills.

8:50pm

City attacking the dressing room end in the second period.

8:49pm

8:49pm

8:49pm

Second-half kicks off.

8:33pm

Half-time.

8:33pm

8:32pm

Thorley lining up a free-kick about 25 yards out in a central area.

8:29pm

Deeney slips on the byline, Brackley nip in but Glenn Walker's shot hits Diggin. Offside flag was also up.

8:29pm

Breeze gets a lecture from the referee. He'll need to be careful now. His injury has improved though.

8:25pm

City seeing plenty of the ball, not doing a lot with it in the final third.

8:23pm

Alex Meechan controls the ball first time but is tackled as he prepares to shoot.

8:21pm

Story's high cross is gathered by Glyn Thompson. Better handling from the keeper following the goal conceded at Boston.

8:17pm

Another corner for the hosts. Deeney with the inswinger, headed away on the near post.

8:15pm

Brackley free-kick from the left flank. Story takes it, Stuart Whitehead heads clear. Danger averted.

8:11pm

Fierce left-foot shot from Tom Thorley is parried by the keeper. That's woken the crowd up again.

8:05pm

Deeney's corner is wasted. City will need to do better than that.

8:02pm

GOAL. Brackley: Owen Story races down the right and his cross is turned home by Diggin.

8:01pm

Nisevic's cross into the six-yard box somehow evades Steve Diggin and Marvin Robinson and City escape.

8:00pm

Matt Breeze has hurt himself in tackling Eddie Nisevic. He's not moving very freely.

7:56pm

This time the ball is delivered to the back post but Mike Symons is unable to get his head to it.

7:55pm

Mills delivers from the left again, Curtis MacDonald stabs the ball behind and City have a third successive corner.

7:54pm

It's a City corner. Taken by Greg Mills and flicked over by a defender for another.

7:53pm

A positive start from City, Deeney and Danny Edwards in particular.

7:49pm

City have a free-kick in a central position about 20 yards out. Ellis Deeney fires into the wall.

7:47pm

City deserved a draw at least and if they had taken their chances around Brackley's goal mouth would have won.
Our forward line however was shackled by the visitors large defensive players and City's high balls into their half was easily contained. We needed to get round the back of them to have more chances. We could have however have done more with our free kicks awarded just outside Brackleys six yard area. Why Tom Thorley didnt take them beats me especially when some of them easily finished up in the gardens of houses behind the goal. Pleased to see another good crowd it was a shame that the City could not have got something out of it but there are positive signs that we will have a good last season at the lane.
