MALVERN Town were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw at home to Berkhamsted in Southern League Division One Midlands.

Malvern had a goal disallowed when Rik Halion fired home but the referee saw an infringement.
Berkhamsted came more into the game and Adam Martin volleyed wide.
Matt Davis, Berkhamsted's 'keeper, saved well from Hyde before Dean Smith in the Malvern goal saved from Lewis Pritchard.
A mistake by Richard Tomkins allowed Darren Franklyn to slide the ball past Smith in the 65th minute to give Berkhamsted a surprise lead. Malvern responded and Halion's 20-yard shot hit the underside of the bar.
Tomkins made up for his earlier error with a surging run and cross to Joyce who headed the ball back and Gardiner volleyed home the equaliser on 70 minutes.
Carl Kavanagh scored for Berkhamsted, but the referee saw an infringement and gave Malvern a free-kick.
