MANAGER Paul West says Evesham United have to be stronger in the latter stages of games if they are to climb the table.

The Robins go into tomorrow’s home match against Swindon Supermarine (3pm) 12th in Evo-Stik Southern League Division One South and West and without a win in the last four matches.

On each occasion, Evesham conceded goals in the last 20 minutes, including two in Tuesday’s 3-0 Worcestershire FA Senior Cup semi-final defeat at Stourbridge.

West said: “We have to get physically and mentally stronger to close the games out.

“We need some wins but I couldn’t fault the players against Stourbridge.”New centre-half recruit Matt Sysum is poised to make his debut at the Spiers and Hartwell Jubilee Stadium after leaving Cirencester Town.

Striker Roland Agbor is back following a four-game ban along with midfielders Simon Fitter (flu) and Neil MacKenzie (personal issues).
