HEAD coach Richard Hill admitted the focus was immediately on London Welsh after a narrow defeat for Worcester Warriors in Europe.

Warriors were edged out 13-6 by Perpignan to leave the club’s Amlin Challenge Cup bid up in the air.

But Hill insisted there was no time to reflect on European permutations as he looked to the big Aviva Premiership clash with the league newcomers on Friday night at Sixways.

“We start preparing right now,” said Hill. “We had a chat as a group in the dressing room straight after the game.

“We had mapped out a seven-match period and this is match four. We are disappointed, like Harlequins away we just missed out, but we have got three very exciting games to come.

“We start preparing now and had a good day in France lined up.

“We did the analysis of the Perpignan game before we got on the plane yesterday and there was a lot of good stuff to look at.

“We boxed that off yesterday and then this morning we are in for London Welsh and looking forward to it.”
