Flood cleared after tackle on Warriors ace Goode

TOBY Flood has been cleared to continue playing after he was found not to have been solely responsible for a dangerous tackle on Worcester Warriors fly-half Andy Goode.

The Leicester Tigers number 10 had been cited for the incident in the second-half of the Tigers' 19-14 Aviva Premiership win at Sixways last Friday night.

But a Rugby Football Union disciplinary panel tonight decided not to uphold the citing.

Flood is now available to play for Leicester in their Heineken Cup fixtures against Ospreys and Toulouse and in England's RBS 6 Nations campaign.
