  • WELCOME to a snowy Sixways for Warriors' Amlin Challenge Cup dead-rubber with Spannish minnows Bizkaia Gernika.
  • With Perpignan gaining a bonus-point win over Rovigo on Thursday night, Worcester are now unable to progress from their pool.
  • Head coach Richard Hill has named an unchanged squad from the side that thrashed Rovigo in Italy last weekend.

FINAL SCORE: Warriors round off their European matches with an 11-try success, but it's to no avail as they still finish second to Perpignan, who had wrapped up the qualifying spot on Thursday night.

Thanks for following the blog and join me next weekend for the LV= Cup trip to London Irish.

TRY Warriors! Worcester go the length of the field to score their 10th and the best of the bunch so far. Warriors turn over the ball on their own line, Crtaig Gillies breaks out and finds Gray, who finds Jon Clarke, who moves it on to Ben Howard and there's no stopping him as he scorches past several players from half-way to touch down under the posts. Gray adds the simple kick.

A big scrum won a penalty, which was scrummed again, but Blair Cowan was turned over as he tried to jump over a ruck and score. Gernika clear their lines.

Scrum 5 to Warriors as a Gernika player carries the ball over and tocuhes back after Jon Clarke's grubber.

Danny gray gets the second-half under way.

Warriors have reacked up six tries in a one-sided first-half, but the plucky Spaniards have put 16 points on the board.

TRY Warriors! With the ref playing penalty advantage as Gernika drag Worcester's maul down, Nikki Walker runs a fine line to burst onto Gray's pass and speeds past the defence to touch down.

It was a well-taken try from the Spaniards (created by an Irishman and scored by an Argentine), proving they will put up plenty of fight this afternoon.

They have a shot at goal too now, as Warriors are hit for not releasing.
