Harriers face promotion rivals Harriers face promotion rivals

KIDDERMINSTER Harriers take on promotion rivals Forest Green Rovers tonight aiming for a fourth successive victory (7.45).

Steve Burr’s side are riding the crest of a wave at the moment and further enhanced their position in the top-five with a 4-0 win at Hyde last Saturday.

Forest Green are two places and three points better off than Harriers in fifth but the Aggborough outfit head to the New Lawn brimming with confidence.

Burr said: “I am pleased with how we’re playing. We are winning with a bit of style and scoring goals.

“It was difficult last Saturday but once we got the second goal we won quite convincingly.

“At this stage of the season we want to keep things going and hopefully we can do that.

“I felt Forest Green were the best side we’ve played this season so we know how tough it is going to be but we are in very good form at the minute.”

Former Gillingham midfielder Danny Jackman is fit following a thigh injury but right-back Lee Vaughan (groin) is ruled out.

Left-back Mickey Demetriou is struggling with a thigh complaint, while on-loan striker Nathaniel Jarvis (knee) has returned to parent club Cardiff for treatment.
