SCRUM-half Shaun Perry marked his return to action with a try and lively 40-minute display as Worcester Cavaliers ran out 66-30 winners over the Army in a high-scoring encounter at Sixways last night.

Perry had been ruled out since September with injury, but the former England man produced an impressive first-half and raced over for a well-taken score.

Worcester took control by the break with a brace from hooker Ollie Hayes and further scores from wing Colin Dickson and skipper Richard de Carpentier, while Enosi Nabukebuke also grabbed a double.

Joe Carlisle, De Carpentier, Alastair Thompson, Dickson and John Hughes all touched down in the second-half for Cavaliers, while the spirited Army hit back with several well-worked tries of their own.
