CAPTAIN Graham Hutchison says the potential of a Wembley final should be all the motivation Worcester City need to triumph at Telford.

City travel to the New Bucks Head for a first round replay tonight (7.45) aiming to set up a last 32 clash at either Aldershot Town or Weston-super-Mare in non-league’s premier knock-out competition.

Flying the flag for the two counties following first round defeats for Kidderminster Harriers and Hereford United, they are brimming with confidence after putting in a superb performance in Saturday’s scintillating stalemate at Aggborough.

Carl Heeley’s side also held Telford to a 0-0 draw in Shropshire when the sides met in Skrill North back in September and they are ready to do battle again.

Although the Trophy final is five rounds away, Hutchison wants his team-mates to use the thought to spur them on.

The City skipper said: “It’s a great incentive, there’s no reason why we can’t go all the way and play at Wembley.

“The next round is the last 32 so it’s not that far away. There’s no reason why we can’t go to Telford, as the underdogs probably, and get a result.

“We went there without our strongest team earlier in the season and got a 0-0 and they didn’t create that much either.

“If we go there with the same attitude we had on Saturday and create chances, hopefully we’ll be able to take some of them.

“As long as we can deal with their set-pieces then I’m sure we can create more opportunities from open play, which is a better chance of scoring, and hopefully we can go through to the next round.”

Hutchison also praised the spirit in the camp, which he says cannot be taken for granted at all clubs.

"The former Birmingham centre-half added: “The changing room is good, all the players want to work hard for each other whereas in some changing rooms the players are in little groups.

”The gaffer has got us all together with Gards (Matt Gardiner) and Snaps (John Snape) and we all just want to work hard for each other and the club.”

Right-back George Williams is expected to be fit after getting his foot stamped on against Telford and being replaced by Ebby Nelson-Addy with 15 minutes to go.

Midfielder Steven Leslie had a tight hamstring following the match but should be fit to keep his place against his former club.

On-loan Torquay United winger Niall Thompson, who has missed the last three games with a foot injury, remains doubtful.
