KIDDERMINSTER Harriers have agreed a price freeze with League One high-fliers Peterborough United for the home FA Cup third round tie on Saturday, January 4 (3pm).

Steve Burr’s side booked their place with an impressive 4-2 win over higher-ranked Newport County at Aggborough last weekend.

Adults will pay £14 for standing or £17 to sit, over 60s, students and adults £8 or £11, under 16s £5 or £8 and under fives can attend for free with a ticket collected from the office.

Chairman Mark Serrell said: “We obviously want to maximise any revenue we can from what has already been a fantastic FA Cup run.

“But we were very mindful of how loyal our supporters have been and, in particular, how much football they have paid to watch this season with the added cup games.

“We hope fans will appreciate the gesture and take it as something of a very small, late Christmas present from us.

“We just want as many as possible from around the town to turn up on the day and get behind the team.”

The club hope tickets will be on sale to home fans early next week, firstly to season ticket holders only.

Meanwhile, Harriers have agreed a deal for teenage defender Tyrone Williams to head to Redditch United on loan.

The academy graduate, who has already completed spells at Sutton Coldfield and Chasetown, will stay at the Valley Stadium until March 1.

Kidderminster host Alfreton Town in the Skrill Premier today (3pm) without suspended right-back Lee Vaughan, who misses one match for five bookings.
