NORTH Midlands will have 13 players in action in the Midlands Under 16s final trial at Leicester Grammar School tomorrow.

The 13 were all selected after impressing for North Midlands in their recent three-match programme of inter-county matches which included Super Sunday events at Bromsgrove Rugby Club and Leicester Grammar School.

The final trial will consist of four workshops and clinics in the morning followed by a match in three 25-minute periods (2pm kick-off).

The North Midlands players who will be taking part in the trial are: Fly-half Oliver Allsopp (Malvern College, Worcester RFC and Worcestershire), lock Rory Bateson (King’s School Worcester, Ledbury RFC and Herefordshire), centre Will Butler (Hereford Cathedral School, Ledbury RFC and Herefordshire), lock Joe Charles (Church Stretton School, Shrewsbury RFC and Shropshire), prop Sebastian Deans-Smith (Charlton School, Telford Hornets RFC and Shropshire), centre Blake Edwards (Bromsgrove School and Worcestershire), full-back Jacob Ham (King’s School Worcester, Worcester RFC and Worcestershire), number eight George Hemingway (RGS Worcester, Worcester RFC and Worcestershire), prop Joseph Morris (King Edward VI School Aston, Sutton Coldfield RFC and Greater Birmingham), scrum-half Josh Nott (RGS Worcester, Worcester RFC and Worcestershire), winger Harry Robinson (The Chase School, Malvern RFC and Worcestershire), hooker Henry Walker (Bromsgrove School, Spartans RFC and Worcestershire) and flanker Zac Xiorouppa (Ellesmere College, Shrewsbury RFC and Shropshire).
