HEREFORD United hope to close the gap on rivals Forest Green Rovers when the two sides meet in the Skrill Premier at Edgar Street tonight (7.30pm).
The eagerly-anticipated clash will be screened live on BT Sport and is the Bulls’ second derby in the space of three days following the 2-1 Boxing Day defeat to Kidderminster.
Although Martin Foyle’s men were beaten at Aggborough, it was only their second defeat in the last seven league matches, a run which has moved them up to 17th in the table.
Despite the Bulls’ fortunes improving on the pitch, there are still mounting financial problems off it and they are again asking fans to dig deep to bail out the cash-strapped club.
The Bulls board of directors recently announced they needed to raise £35,000 in 14 days to meet the December wage bill and they are almost a third of the way to reaching the target.
