Thorn’s Harriers get ready for Posh trip

A MATCH against Premier League Sunderland is the prize for Kidderminster Harriers if they can beat Peterborough United in tonight’s FA Cup third round replay at London Road (7.45).
Harriers head to the League One promotion hopefuls looking to spring a surprise and reach the fourth round for the first time in 20 years.
New manager Andy Thorn, who took over from Steve Burr last week, enjoyed a winning start to his reign with a 3-0 victory over Salisbury City at the weekend.
But he has the chance to make himself an instant hero at Aggborough if he can mastermind success against the Posh.
He will have Saturday’s hat-trick hero Joe Lolley in his ranks, although the striker looks set to join Huddersfield Town later this week in a deal worth around £250,000.
Thorn said: “Joe is a fantastic talent.
“The boy will want to play higher, that’s how it is, it doesn’t mean he hates Kidderminster and doesn’t want to be here. That’s football.
“At 21 he is a fabulous young talent but there are young talents everywhere.”
Despite being sixth in the table, Peterborough’s 2-1 defeat at Swindon last Saturday was their fourth league loss in a row. Darren Ferguson’s side will be without Lee Tomlin after the forward was sent off for two yellow cards against Swindon.
