WILL Creekmore’s dominant displays for Worcester Wolves have been rewarded with an eighth appearance in the British Basketball League team of the week.
The 6ft 9ins American centre is now leading the race for the most inclusions in the competition’s elite quintet this season.
Creekmore produced an all-action effort in Wolves’ 90-66 win against Durham Wildcats last Friday, which kept the University Arena side top of the table.
He recorded a double-double 21 and 14 in points and rebounds as well as coming up with five assists, three blocks and three steals.
Creekmore is joined in the team by Drew Sullivan, who inspired Leicester Riders to victory in the BBL Cup final against Newcastle Eagles.
Surrey United duo Joel Henry and Ceslovas Kucinskas and Daniel Northern of Glasgow Rocks make up the team of the week.
Worcester point guard Zaire Taylor, the player of the month for December, was named as one of seven players for the select team’s bench.
