WORCESTER City are determined to continue their revival in Skrill North by keeping the pressure on their relegation rivals.

Carl Heeley's side made it four wins in five with Tuesday's 3-1 derby victory against Solihull Moors at Aggborough.

The result lifted them to 17th in the table, six points clear of the bottom three but having played more games than all but one of the teams below them, Stalybridge Celtic.

City are now looking to close the gap on 15th-placed Stockport County, who visit Aggborough on Saturday.

Assistant manager Matt Gardiner said: "Forget the games played, it's all about the points now so we go into the game with confidence. The challenge is to make sure we stick with the teams around us and do better than them if we can.

"We've got 15 games left and we've just got to try and get as many points on the board as we can. We've got confidence now and we want to move on and we can't wait for the next game."

Goals from Steven Leslie, Ethan Moore and Ebby Nelson-Addy secured the points against Solihull as Worcester bounced back from defeat at Vauxhall Motors.

Gardiner added: "I think we needed that from Saturday because we were really frustrated. What had served us well for the three games prior to Saturday was coming out the blocks strongly. We just couldn't do that against Vauxhall Motors with the conditions.

"I am really pleased with the way they started. It was a great shot from Steven, it's good to see him back and I thought he had a great 90 minutes. I thought everyone worked hard and we thoroughly deserved the lead after a good start.

"I'm really pleased for Ethan. He missed a one-on-one chance in the first-half but he never loses faith that he's going to score, it's the sign of a good goalscorer.

"I'm also really pleased for Ebby because he has had to bide his time. He's got in the team and the energy on a heavy pitch at the end was fantastic."
