FANS' favourite Chris Pennell says it's now or never for Worcester Warriors as they embark on pulling off the great escape.

Warriors have 10 games left to bridge the 11-point gap at the bottom of the Aviva Premiership and save their top-flight status.

It all starts with the daunting prospect of facing defending champions Leicester Tigers at Sixways tomorrow night (7.45pm).

But Pennell, one of the team's star performers this season, believes Worcester can succeed and has underlined the importance of imposing themselves on the opposition, something they failed to do in Saturday's 42-3 LV= Cup defeat to Exeter Chiefs.

The full-back said: "Any game that we play at Sixways in the Premiership now we just have to throw absolutely everything at it.

"If we can do that then either the result will take care of itself or we can at least look at each other in the mirror and with a clear conscience.

"It's now or never, it's as simple as that. This will be a real indication as to who we are as blokes and how strong we can be as a team.

"You have to believe you can win every game you go in to. Given the situation we find ourselves in, we are getting to that stage now where it's do-or-die."

Pennell continued: "We've got to make sure we dominate regardless of who it is - Leicester, Sarries or Gloucester - we have got to make sure we come out on top.

"We were massively disappointed with the performance against Exeter but, credit to them, they gave us a bit of a lesson, especially up front, they were very clinical and dominant.

"Our focus now has got to be on the games left in the Premiership and doing everything we can to make sure that we're in this league next season.

"To a man, we were embarrassed with how we played against Exeter but, likewise, we realise now that we can't dwell, we have to look ahead and get excited about Leicester, it's as simple as that."

Meanwhile, second row Mariano Galarza and winger David Lemi are both leaving Sixways in the summer.

Argentina international Galarza, 27, is joining Gloucester for the 2014-15 season, while 31-year-old Samoan Lemi has agreed a two-year deal to return to Bristol.

Gloucester director of rugby Nigel Davies said: "Having spoken with Mariano, he is excited at the prospect of becoming a Gloucester player and is looking forward to becoming part of what is shaping up to be an exciting squad of players.

"Mariano is an experienced, physical operator and his signing is another statement of intent for us.”
