WORCESTER City could field a team including youth players and trialists in tonight's Worcestershire FA Senior Cup semi-final at Redditch United (7.45).

The Blue and Whites have in a rich vein of form having won five of their last six Skrill North matches to haul themselves clear of the relegation zone.

But with a small squad and two home fixtures against Barrow and Telford to come in the next week, manager Carl Heeley will look to ring the changes.

New keeper Matt Bulman and winger Danny Williams, who were among the substitutes in last Saturday's 1-0 win at Guiseley, are expected to start.

Centre-half Richard Munday, striker Kristian Ramsey-Dickson and forward Aaron Williams are also poised to play.

But Heeley is also keen to run the rule over some trialists who have been training with the squad and Mark Owen's academy youngsters from Worcester College of Technology.

The City manager said: "Our main aim is to preserve our status in Conference North and we have got a lot of work to do.

"As much as I want to win the cup it's an opportunity to give the five lads who were subs on Saturday a chance to play.

"We have also got one or two players we want to have a look at and it will be an opportunity to play some of the academy players."

Meanwhile, Hereford United are due to visit Wrexham tonight (7.45) looking to bounce back from last Monday's 3-0 defeat at Woking.

But the Bulls will be hoping for an improvement in the weather as Wrexham's Racecourse Ground was yesterday covered by snow.

It has not been a good few days for Hereford as their Skrill Premier match against Macclesfield Town was postponed at the weekend due to a waterlogged pitch at Edgar Street.

That saw them miss out on vital revenue during a month in which they have no more scheduled home matches.

Evesham United, also beaten by the elements last Saturday when their trip to Swindon Supermarine was called off, are on the road again at Taunton Town tonight (7.45).

However, the Somerset side have not played at their Wordsworth Drive base since Boxing Day and have called a pitch inspection for 12.30pm.

In the Worcestershire FA Senior Urn, Bromsgrove Sporting host Malvern Town in a quarter-final clash at the Victoria Ground (7.45).

Elsewhere, Kidderminster Harriers have rearranged their Skrill Premier home match against Cambridge United for Tuesday, April 15. They will also now visit Aldershot Town on Tuesday, March 18.

Other fixtures; Baker Joiner Midland Alliance: Stourport Swifts v Highgate United; Westfields v Wulfrunians (both 7.45pm).

West Midlands League Premier Division: Bromyard Town v Pegasus Juniors; Wednesfield v Bewdley Town (both 7.45pm).
