KIDDERMINSTER Harriers manager Andy Thorn insists he is not dwelling on his side's league position ahead of tomorrow's trip to Lincoln City (3pm).

The Aggborough outfit have dropped to ninth in the Skrill Premier on the back of just one league win in 2014.

Although they are only four points shy of the play-off places, and have games in hand on all their rivals except Grimsby Town following postponements, Harriers won't want to slip too far adrift.

A 3-0 victory over Salisbury City remains their only victory under Thorn but the manager feels the players are making progress.

He said: "There's nothing you can do about other teams and, to be fair, I haven't paid too much attention to the other results.

"I have focused more on our results and it is an important period for us where we've been getting over to the players what we want, what's required to win matches and how we want to do it.

"It's about what we do and as long as we keep picking points up, we'll be fine."

He continued: "It was frustrating not to be able to play against Cambridge but it may have done us a favour.

"It has given us some more time to work with the players on what we want from them in an attacking sense.

"When I came on board we didn't have a lot of time to work on things because of the number of games we had.

"Also, we played Sunderland and Peterborough which meant we were set up a certain type of way.

"But the players are taking on board what we want."

Not having played since the 3-1 defeat at Gateshead on February 1 has given time for any injuries to clear up.

The loan window is also now open should Thorn need to bolster his options in the push for a top-five finish.

But Thorn may look to turn to Ryan Rowe to fire his side up the table with the striker having impressed in training since returning from a loan spell at Stourbridge.

The Harriers boss said: "Ryan has shown a great attitude in training, he looks really lively and up for it and it's been great to see.

"He's getting on well with the lads and is someone who is pushing to be in and around the first team squad."
