WORCESTER Warriors suffered their 20th consecutive Premiership defeat and 15th this season with a 24-12 home loss to Sale Sharks.
Two tries from Mariano Galarza arrived too late to save Warriors, who are rock-bottom of the table with seven league games left.
Meanwhile, Worcester City are eight points off the Skrill North relegation zone in 17th place after a 2-1 defeat at Gainsborough Trinity, who moved above them.
Daniel Nti put City ahead in the first-half but Gainsborough claimed the points.
However, Worcester Wolves enjoyed a stunning British Basketball League Trophy quarter-final victory at fellow high-fliers Newcastle Eagles, triumphing 86-73.
