KIDDERMINSTER Harriers manager Andy Thorn has left the club with immediate effect.

Thorn had only been in charge at Aggborough since January after replacing the sacked Steve Burr at the Skrill Premier club.

Assistant first team coach Craig Knight has also left.

A club statement said: "The club feels that by making a change now, the team will have a better opportunity to not only finish the current season strongly but, equally as importantly, will also be able to carry momentum forward into the start of a new season – whichever division that may be in."
