EXPERIENCED wide midfielder Martin Devaney has joined Worcester City on a deal until the end of the season.
The former Cheltenham Town star, 33, will add further experience to the City ranks following last week's capture of centre-half Wayne Thomas.
Devaney can also list Barnsley, Tranmere Rovers and Kidderminster Harriers among his former clubs in a playing career of more than 400 senior games.
He started the season at struggling Hyde where he made 11 Skrill Premier appearances.
Worcester manager Carl Heeley said: “We were made aware of Martin’s availability by recent signing Wayne and, knowing of his capabilities, we had little hesitation in adding him to our squad.
"He can play in a few positions and the quality he possesses will be of huge benefit to us during the run-in to the end of the season."
Devaney goes straight into the squad for City's trip to Barrow in Skrill North tomorrow (3pm).
