TWO Worcester Wolves stars have again earned recognition in the British Basketball League team of the week.

Will Creekmore and Zaire Taylor are both included in the elite five following their exploits in Wolves' 88-66 defeat of Durham Wildcats at the University Arena and 94-86 win at Manchester Giants.

Centre Creekmore, making appearance number 14 in the prestigious team this season, wreaked havoc against the Wildcats.

He recorded a mammoth 36 points and 17 rebounds, a double-double which was spectacular even by his own high standards.

The 25-year-old also claimed two steals and two blocked shots, as well as mustering the third best display of the week with 33 points and 12 boards against the Giants.

Fellow American Taylor's performance against Durham saw him find his way into the team for a 10th time this season.

Taylor may have drawn a blank from the three-point line, but made eight from 10 at the basket on his way to 18 points.

He also accrued a majestic 14 assists to complete yet another backcourt double-double, while wrapping up a fine display with six steals and four rebounds.

The pair are joined in the team of the week by Cheshire Phoenix duo Reggie Middleton and Victor Moses and Malik Cooke (Newcastle Eagles). Worcester's Alex Owumi was named among the replacements.

Meanwhile, Wolves will parade their BBL Trophy during Worcester Warriors' Aviva Premiership clash against Exeter Chiefs on Saturday.

Coach Paul James and his squad, who secured the silverware in Glasgow last month, will watch the match at Sixways before taking to the pitch at half-time.

Wolves won the trophy , beating Glasgow Rock 83-76, on the same day as Warriors defeated Newcastle Falcons for their first league win of the season.
