AARON Brown has left Worcester City and joined Skrill North rivals Solihull Moors.

The 30-year-old midfielder, who can also play in defence of up front, has opted for a move just five months after joining the Blue and Whites.

His arrival in January helped transform Carl Heeley's side from relegation candidates to one of the division's form sides, ending with a 15th-placed finish.

But the much-travelled player, who lists Kidderminster Harriers, Preston, Aldershot, Leyton Orient and Yeovil among his clubs, will be plying his trade at Damson Park next season after 17 appearances and two goals for Worcester.

Solihull launched a raid on City last summer, signing Rob Elvins, Matt Birley and Michael Taylor during financial uncertainty ahead of the move to Aggborough.

Heeley, however, has already secured the services of double player-of-the-season George Williams, captain Ellis Deeney, Graham Hutchison and Tyler Weir for the 2014-15 campaign.

Offers have also been made to top-scorer Daniel Nti, Ethan Moore and Aaron Williams.
