That is it. Harriers had the better of the second half but in the end a 0-0 was probably right. Kidderminster started the game tentatively but grew into the march but there are areas in the final third of the pitch that needed to be addressed by Gary Whild ahead of Tuesday's home game against Alfreton.

Thanks for your time, I will be back for the mid week clash.

Today's attendance is 2,598 with 177 Harriers fans.

4:36pm

It has been a better half for Harriers, they have certainly had more of a go and created a few chances. Both teams will fancy their chances but can Kiddy win it with 11 minutes to go?

4:34pm

Final change for Kiddy as Reece Styche replaces Blissett in the 74th minute.

4:32pm

Chance! Nicholson delivers a ball and Dunkley heads wide.

4:31pm

73- Blissett has had a decent second half and he chases down Gittings' forward lass and cuts into the box. He finds Johnson but the attacker fires over the bar.

4:27pm

67- A good run by Caprice ends in Tomlinson firing a scruffy shot wide from the edge of the box.

4:23pm

68- Change for City as Alan Power is replaced by Arnaud Mendy.

4:21pm

63 Michael Gash replaces Craig Reid for Harriers.

4:20pm

62- Phew! Good work by Jared Hodgkiss to makes a timely challenge to deny Tomlinson as he looks to pounce on Bencherif's pass. Danny Lewis. Also does well to make sure the loose ball doesn't go in as well.

4:04pm

A bright start by Harriers. Blissett tees up Reid, who fires over the bar.

4:02pm

Second half underway.

3:49pm

That is the break. Harriers manage to go into half-time on level terms despite being under some pressure. City have been more proactive and at times attacked well but full credit to Kiddy centre backs Josh Gowling and Chey Dunkley, they have kept the hosts at bay.

Gary Whild will have to make some changes to make them better going forward because they have been quite toothless. But at 0-0 this game is very much up for grabs.

3:44pm

43- Good defending by Dunkley, who doesn't allow Jordan Burrows to get past him and latch onto a ball from Tomlinson.

Hopefully Harriers can go into the break on level terms and regroup.

3:39pm

38- At the other end, Jon Nolan slams a shot high over the bar from the edge of the box.

3:38pm

36- The resulting corer is taken short to Nicholson but keeper Townsend has his cross covered.

3:37pm

36- Harriers nearly score! Craig Reid turns and fires in a lovely shot that is deflected just wide.

3:35pm

32 - It is a quiet period in the game but Harriers need to find a way to impose themselves on City a bit more. At the the moment the home side are slightly sharper.

3:27pm

25- Harriers survive another scare. This time a Ben Tomlinson shot flies across the face of goal.

3:25pm

24- Gowling to the rescue again! Caprice makes a mazy run into the box and crosses and it looks as though Bencherif will head home at the far post but who's that man of clear off the line? None of than Gowling!

3:22pm

20- Imps defender Tony Diagne is forced to head over his own goal from a well taken Nicholson free-kick.

Harriers' new left back takes the corner and while the ball comes to Reid, he can't get a shot in with two payees by him.

3:20pm

19- At the moment City are pressing and Harriers are defending. They have yet to really settle down and when the ball is sent forward, it is not being retained.

3:17pm

16- Harriers are living dangerously here. Sean Newton is getting a lot of space on City's left to get the ball in and he delivers another good ball but Bencherif, under close marshalling of Gowling, heads over from close range.

3:16pm

13- Corner for City but Gowling gets his head to the ball and Sean Newton's set-piece comes to nothing.

3:15pm

13- Corner for City but Gowling gets his head to the ball and Sean Newton's set-piece comes to nothing.

3:13pm

A free-kick for the home side goes to waste. There is a strong wing blowing through the ground that will affect the game.

3:12pm

3:12pm

11- City try to hit Harriers on the counter and Jake Caprice races down the right wing but Josh Gowling is in the right place to head away the danger.

3:10pm

10- Chance for City goes to waste. Alan Power races onto Marcus Marshall's pass but as he tries to beat Chey Dunkley, he stumbles over the ball and Harriers can clear.

3:08pm

7- So far Lincoln have shaded the start of the game but only just.

3:06pm

5- Blissett battles for the ball and wins a KHFC free-kick on the halfway line. Blissett beats keeper Townsend to Nicholson's deep delivery but the ball is aimless and there is no danger.

3:04pm

3- Chance! Sean Newton crosses from the right and Hamza Bencherif heads goalwards but Danny Lewis comfortably saves.

3:02pm

It looks as though Harriers are playing a 4-3-3 with Reid down the middle, Blissett on the left and Obeng on the right.

3:00pm

Here we go!

2:57pm

We are only a few minutes away from kick-off now. Lincoln had a very good pre-season, defeating Doncaster, Chesterfield and Scunthorpe but they did lose to Mansfield and Stalybridge Celtic.

In contrast, Harriers won two games, against Stourport and Cheltenham. Their only defeat was a 3-0 loss to Birmingham, a game where Middy did actually match their Championship neighbours for 45 minutes.

2:47pm

Harriers' team is very experienced. With capturing of Kevin Nicholson only adds to what Josh Gowling, Kyle Storer, Danny Lewis, Jared Hodgkiss, Callum Gittings and Craig Reid bring.

2:42pm

It is also a big day for Ahmed Obeng. This is his first start as a professional footballer after being signed by Harriers from Rushall Olympic in the summer.

He's had a very good pre-season where his pace, wispy elusiveness and  directness has troubled defenders. Hopefully he can translate those performances into the season.

2:31pm

Lincoln have new signings Jake Caprice, Tony Diagne, Hamza Bencherif and Jordan Burrow starting as well as Marcus Marshall, who is on a season long loan from Stevenage.

2:30pm

Gary Whild has brought in Aman Verma into midfield with Byrne out of action. He has also chosen the forward line of Nathan Blissett and Craig Reid. Both payed well in the final pre-season game against Cheltenham.

It is a big call by the Harriers manager, who has last season's top scorer and regular goal-scorer Michael Gash and popular new addition Reece on the subs bench.

But if Harriers need to score in the second half, it is comforting to know those two are waiting in the wings. Marvin Johnson has also made the bench after getting over his knee injury.

2:18pm

Lincoln: Townsend, Caprice, Diagne, Brown, Newton, Bencherif, Nolan, Power, Marshall, Burrow, Tomlinson.
Subs: Kabba, Ledsham, Mendy, Robinson, Farman.

2:16pm

Harriers: Lewis, Hodgkiss, Gowling, Dunkley, Nicholson, Verma, Storer, Gittings, Obeng, Blissett, Reid.
Subs: Johnson, Gash, Styche, Grimes, Singh.

2:08pm

Good afternoon Harriers fans! I have arrived at Sincil Bank and am ready for today's Vanarama Conference clash.

No team news yet but Jack Byrne is an injury doubt, while the feeling around the press box is that Marvin Johnson is fit enough to be included in the squad but on the bench.

10:32am

Good morning folks. I will be back from about 2pm with the build-up and team news for this afternoon's action.
