IMPOSING power forward Dejan Radojevic believes Worcester Wolves have what it takes to finish the season with silverware.

The 6ft 11ins player, who can also operate at centre, is the British Basketball League club’s latest signing and head coach Paul James hopes he is the final piece in the jigsaw as Wolves aim to build on last season’s Trophy and play-off triumph.

Radojevic is poised to be involved in this weekend’s double header at Bristol Flyers in the league on Saturday and the Trophy last 16 clash at Durham Wildcats on Sunday.

“We are just two points behind league leaders Newcastle so I think there is still time for us to be first at the end of the regular season and in the play-offs,” the Serbian said.

“I had the chance to go to Spain but my agent called me and told me about Worcester. They have big ambitions to do well again so I made the decision to come here and help the team.

“I can’t wait to play my first game here.”

Radojevic says he is also impressed with Wolves and the standard of the BBL.
