HEREFORD United's Trent McClenahan is preparing to clock up the air miles with his national side.
The Bulls left-back was part of the Australia under-23s team that drew 0-0 with Iran in Tehran.
It was the Aussies' first fixture in the six-match, four-group second stage qualifying section for the Beijing Olympics.
McClenahan, replaced by Ben Griffin during the match, faces several more long trips before the qualifying schedule reaches its conclusion later this year.
Australia host Jordan in Adelaide on March 14 and entertain Saudi Arabia on March 27.
The team then visits Saudi Arabia on April 18 and hosts Iran in the reverse fixture in Adelaide on May 16.
A match in Jordan on June 6 completes the programme.
The top two teams in the four groups of six then qualify for the next stage, which will be played in three groups of four between August 22 and November 21.
The three group winners will represent Asia at the Beijing Games in 2008.
If selected, McClenahan, wh-ose club side host Grimsby today, will miss key matches in the end-of-season run-in.
