WITH the distinct smell of Trophy fever hanging heavy in the air at Aggborough, Kidderminster Harriers fans will have the chance to come face to face with the prize itself ahead of today's semi-final first leg showdown with Northwich Victoria.

From noon until the 3pm kick-off, the FA Carlsberg Trophy will be on display at Harriers' home and fans will be able to have their photograph taken with it free of charge.

However, the Harriers faithful will be hoping that the next time they see the trophy, it will be being held aloft in celebration by captain Stuart Whitehead after the final whistle on Saturday, May 12.

Two representatives from the Football Association will be looking after the trophy while it is on display at Aggborough and supporters can ask them questions about the competition.

Everyone who goes to see the trophy today will also be entered into a free prize draw to win corporate hospitality tickets for the final.

As well as seeing the trophy first hand, Harriers followers will be able to contribute to a fans diary. The diary has travelled the country with the trophy and features football tales from fans across the land.

Meanwhile, Harriers fans planning to cheer their team to the Trophy final have been given the chance to sample some luxury when they travel to Northwich for the semi-final second leg next Saturday.

Members of supporters group, The Red Army Fund, have organised an 89-seater executive coach to enable followers of Mark Yates' men to travel in style to the crucial encounter.

The cost of a seat for the trip to Cheshire is £10. Departure time from the stadium has yet to be confirmed but is expected to be around 11am.
