MALVERN Town returned with all the spoils following this meeting with in-form Leighton.
Although Leighton started brightly, they did not create opportunities and Malvern took the lead in the 14th minute.
Following good work on the right, Ed Lyons slipped the ball to Daniel Harding-Hall in the box and he slid the ball past keeper Nigel Maarman.
Harding-Hall should have made it 2-0 two minutes later when he was one-on-one with the keeper but his shot went inches wide.
Malvern continued to create the clear cut opportunities and in the 39th minute Har-ding-Hall played the ball to Lyons who shot just wide.
Leighton had the majority of the play after the interval but failed to create any chances.
