WHILE Bromsgrove Rovers were strengthening their play-off hopes, Stourport Swifts crashed to another defeat in their bid to avoid relegation.
Rovers fell behind at Bed-worth when James Wood netted after seven minutes. However, the match was all-square at the break when Kevin Banner's wind-assisted corner flew straight into the home side's goal.
Bromsgrove grabbed their winner eight minutes after the restart through top scorer Nathan Lamey.
At Bishops Cleeve, Swifts slipped behind a minute into the second-half when Kevin Slack scored. Slack scored his second after 65 minutes.
