RONKSWOOD Sports maintained their challenge for honours in Worcester Sunday League Division One with an easy 6-1 win over Martley.

Kevin Insall scored twice with other goals coming from Warren Joyce, Shaun Roberts, Wesley Joyce and Carl Joyce.

In Division Three, recent capture Grant Gibbs cracked a hat-trick for Warndon Athletic, who crushed Bringsty Sports 6-3, while Sam Shuker bagged two for Northwick Sports in their narrow 3-2 win against Littleworth. Other hat-tricks came from Ian Radford of Prinner Sports Reserves, who beat Punchbowl 4-3, and Ross Freeman as Plumbers Arms drew 4-4 with Powick.

In the Premier, Nunnery Wood had a surprise 4-2 win at Archdales with a brace from Andy Oliver, while other stri-kes came from Mitchell Winwood and Steve Coopey.

Trinity Lakes got their title hopes back on track with a 4-1 win at fellow challengers Arrow 2000 but Perrywood remain top, Jamie Long bagging a brace as they beat Colwall St James 3-1.

In a match that saw three players sent off, goals from Tom Guest and Rich Galloway gave Old Vigornians a 2-0 victory over Bridge Rangers.

Kays beat Barbourne 2-0, both goals coming from Neil McDonald, and a Hayden Armes strike secured the points for Goodrest against TJs.

Powick completed the semi-final line up in the Katherine Rayer Cup, Lee Henderson and Stuart Harvey their scorers in a 2-0 success at Droitwich Spa.

The Talbot are through to the Phipps Cup final, Paul Bennett netting twice as they won 4-2 at Upton Town.
