WORCESTER City Youth go in search of their first piece of silverware for two years tomorrow.

City's youngsters face Redditch United in the Worcestershire FA Youth Cup final at Stourport Swifts' Walshes Meadow (7.30pm).

Victory would be Worcester's first triumph since winning promotion to the Midland Floodlit Youth League Premier Division in 2005.

City are currently third in the Midland Floodlit Youth League Premier Division, while Redditch are unbeaten in the southern section.

Worcester manager Ray Woods said: "We haven't won anything for two years so it would be nice if we could win.

"It's a one-off game and we are certain it's going to be a tough game.

"Redditch have done very well in their league this year. We certainly won't underestimate them."

However, City will not be able to field all of their first-choice 11 because only players who have featured in previous rounds of the competition are allowed to compete.

Woods said: "It's not ideal because for most of the season we have had 30 players signed on and they have played their part.

"Then we get to a cup final and we are not allowed to pick from our strongest squad.

"But we are still pretty much at full-strength."
