WORCESTER'S director of rugby John Brain wants the capacity Sixways crowd to roar his side to Premiership safety in tomorrow's crunch match with Saracens (3.05pm).

The stakes could hardly be higher with the hosts just a point above basement side Northampton at the bottom of the table and Saracens chasing a first Premiership title.

But Brain thinks the supporters can help swing the game in his side's favour and ensure a fourth consecutive season in the top flight.

"I think the fans have been tremendous all season," he said. "We expect an awful lot of noise and energy to be generated by them. When they do that, it is probably worth six or seven points to us as a team.

"I can remember the atmosphere a couple of years ago when we played in a similar game against Northampton. That really was spine-tingling stuff and I would imagine this would be as good if not better.

"There will be more than 10,000 supporters at Sixways and it is a game that really means something. This is the type of game that players and coaches should relish. We should enjoy the experience and look forward to it. Destiny is in our own hands."

Brain is confident Northampton will win their battle with London Irish at Franklin's Gardens, which means Worcester have to beat Saracens to stay up.

But he insists his players will relish the occasion. He said: "They are all looking forward to this game because the opportunity to play out here in front of a full house in a game that really matters is something that players play for and coaches coach for."

Brain has made three changes to his starting line-up for tomorrow afternoon's clash, while Gavin Quinnell has been ruled out by a knee injury.

Tongan prop Tevita Taumoepeau returns to the starting XV with Wales international front row Chris Horsman sidelined with a neck injury.

Gary Trueman also misses out on the final day of the season with a viral infection and is replaced by Mark Tucker in the centre.

However, lock Craig Gillies starts after missing the last Guinness Premiership trip to London Irish through suspension and is joined in the second row by Richard Blaze, who will be playing his last game for the club before leaving to join Leicester Tigers.

Tactical changes on the replacements bench see Marcel Garvey, Thomas Lombard and Tom Harding all return.

Saracens recall Kevin Yates, Fabio Ongaro, Iain Fullarton and the fit-again Kameli Ratuvou to the starting line-up.

A strong bench contains the likes of Dan Scarbrough, Hugh Vyvyan, Cencus Johnston and Matt Cairns.
