MANOR Park squash and racketball section have, over the last 12 months, had an increasing number of people joining the junior squash and racketball sessions.

At the recent junior county closed event held at Stourbridge Lawn Tennis and Squash club, Manor Park saw five of its junior squash players taking part with representatives playing in four of the five boys categories. All the players worked hard in each of their groups.

Dominic Bayley (aged 12), played exceptionally well and gained second place in the U15 category.

This Sunday Manor Park will be hosting stage one of the 2015 boys U13 Inter-County Squash Championship.

Worcestershire, Warwickshire, SE Wales and Gloucestershire will all be fielding teams along to take part in this England Squash and Racketball national event that will see the best under 13s playing a high standard of squash in order to qualify for stage two.

Bayley, Manor Park’s top junior player, will be taking part in this event as number one for the Worcestershire inter county team.

Manor Park run sessions on Sunday evenings 5.30-7.30pm and Thursday evenings 4.30-6.00pm.

Beginners are welcome as well as those that wish to improve their game or just want to find out more about both squash and racketball.
